New York's Metropolitan Opera will show on Friday a new opera by Dmitry Shostakovich - "Nose" by Nicolai Gogol.
All tickets are almost completely sold out. Opera was created under tdirection of the South African artist William Kentridzha, known for his exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Russian maestro Valery Gergiev will conduct the opera, and the party of Major Kovalev will perform Brazilian baritone Paulo Szot.
