Putin Promised Support To Foreign Business in Russia

Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin admitted that foreign businesses in Russia has more difficulties than natives, and therefore foreign partners require additional support from the Russian authorities.  

This statement was made by Mr. Putin during the internet press conference in India. 

At the same time he stressed that  all the major world companies are working in Russia, despite the attempts of some Western media to draw negative image of Russia. 

The main foreign partners remained in Russia, although there was recorded some outflow of speculative capital in the first half of crisis 2009. "But on the whole balance of the year was positive," - concluded the Prime Minister with pride.  

The Prime Minister noted that during the crisis, authorities has provided significant support for financial sector. These measures of support were extended to banks with foreign participation. While many other countries did not.
He also agreed with the statement of Indian businessmen that in the trade and economic relations between Russia and India there is a "lack of bank support." But the first steps to address this problem have already been made by Russian  and Indian banks. "We will support this process.  I agree that it needs support and intensification. This we will pay attention to" - said Putin.
