Menarini Group New Plant in Russia

The Government of the Kaluga region and direction of Berlin-Chemie, which is part of one of the leading Italian pharmaceutical associations Menarini Group, agreed to build a plant worth 30 million Euro for the production of pharmaceutical products. 

Corresponding agreement was signed on Friday in Florence, told deputy governor of the Kaluga region Maxim Akimov.  

Menarini Group sells its products in the markets of more than one hundred countries.  

"The new facility will be built as part of a pharmaceutical cluster in the Kaluga region. It will be a full-cycle plant for production of pharmaceutical products "- Akimov said. 

The project will be implemented in the industrial park "Grabtsevo" in the Kaluga region, while the regional government will provide all the necessary engineering infrastructure, will hold staff training. 

"Construction will begin in July, the project will be implemented within two and a half years", - explained Akimov.
