The law on state registration of contracts on disposal of an exclusive right to the trademark passed the third reading in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
Thus p.2 st.1490 Part IV of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation is recognized null and void.
This new law is aimed to eliminate internal contradiction between st.1232 and st.1490 of the Civil Code, and conduct state registration of the latter contracts on conditions prescribed by the Government of the Russian Federation.
