TECT Corp Extended Contract with VSMPO-Avisma

During the next three years TECT, an American corporation, is going to manufacture blades for aircraft engines solely from titanium rods produced at VSMPO-Avisma. The corporation agreement was signed at the Farnborough International Airshow 2010.

The VSMPO-Avisma representatives have told that the results of the air-show in Farnborough evidence the revival of the aviation and engine-building markets after the crisis. Partners are willing to discuss new projects; the Russian company is receiving numerous requests to increase amounts of delivery.

According to Oleg Leder, General Director of VSMPO-Avisma, TECT has always been the most important partner for the Ural corporation. The products manufactured by the American partner are purchased by major world manufacturers of aircraft engines.
