Special Economic Zone In Sverdlovsk Region of Russia: Titanium Valley

In the Sverdlovsk region there will be created a special economic zone (SEZ) "Titanium Valley".


Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin visited the region on a working visit on Nov. 18, 2010, said that the government will take the necessary measures within the next two weeks.

The basis of the SEZ will be Verkhnaya Salda Metallurgical Production Association (Corporation VSPMPO-Avisma). 


Arvi, SR Systematics, MAG, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) have already claimed for resident status. They will be able to enjoy preferential tax treatment within five years.
