On April 2, 2010 Italian Visa Centre will be opened in Ekaterinburg.
Central Visa Bureau will be providing for its activities under the agreement with the Consulate General of Italy in Moscow.
People living in the four Russian regions - the Perm Krai, the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk, and Tyumen Oblasts - will no longer have to travel to Moscow to obtain Italian visas. Now they will be able to submit the set of documents required to obtain a tourist, business, or student Schengen visa here in Ekaterinburg.
Similar Italian Visa Centres have already been operating in Nizhniy Novgorod, Novosibirsk, and Samara. Central Visa Bureau will open another office in Sochi after Ekaterinburg.
